As part of its effort to contribute to growth of sports in Oyo State, the Titan Farms has partnered Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Oyo State Chapter.
The deal was sealed on Monday during a courtesy visit of the leadership of SWAN to the company Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Gbenga Olatubosun Eyiowuawi on his installation as Kebimapalu I of Ibadanland.
In his congratulatory message, the SWAN Chairman, Comrade Niyi Alebiosu, commended Eyiowuawi for his foresight and plan to take sports in the state to greater heights and assured him of the association support.
He further commended him for his humanitarian gestures towards the people of the state and urged him not to relent in his effort.
While responding, the host assured that his company would explore all avenues to contribute to growth of sports in the state, adding that his company had wanted to do something with Polo club but the plan didn’t fly. However, he expressed hope that relationship with SWAN would contribute immensely to the company.
Meanwhile, to mark the one year anniversary of the company, plan has been concluded on a Five-a-side football match between Friends-of-Titan and SWAN scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 30, 2021.
