Oyetola resumes campaign, visits Modakeke, others today

After days of recess, Osun State Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola will today continue his re-election campaign, visiting Ife East Central LCDA, Ife North, Ife Northwest LCDA and Ife North Area Council.

A statement issued by Director, Media and Communication section of the campaign team, Oluomo Sunday Akere, indicated that the governor, accompanied by party leaders and opinion moulders in Modakeke, would visit the palace of the Ogunsua of Modakeke to pay royal homage.

“At the Area Office, the Governor will later address a public rally at St. Stephen Middle School, Modakeke where he will lay bare the achievements of his administration in the past three and half years and goodies Osun people should expect in his second term before market women and men, members of the general public, artisans and ethnic nationalities.

“On getting to Ife North Local Government, the Governor will pay traditional homage to all royal fathers at the palace of Apetu of Ipetumodu before addressing the people of the town and environs at Oja Ipetumodu.
In the meantime, the Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Council has called on all citizens of the state to continue to be law abiding and go about their lawful duties while assuring them of government readiness to provide security and protection at all times,” the statement elucidated.
