The Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Ife, DCC, Orita Challenge, headed by Evangelist Ayodele Osasona, recently hosted its 5th Old Youths of Oke-Ife DCC Reunion Thanksgiving.
Located opposite Adegoke Group of Companies on the Old Lagos Road, the church premises was besieged by a sizeable congregation, turning up as witnesses to the history, which featured essentially presentation of different categories of awards.
Life time achievement award went to Pastor Alabi, Pastor Femi Alesin, Pastor Asaaju (Rtd); exemplary leadership award to Evangelist Aderonmu, Evangelist Adepoju, DNS Agboola; Post-humous award went to the late Deconess NS Adeleye (first matron of the fellowship); the outstanding father award to Colonel Akinbo (Rtd) while outstanding leadership awards went to Aboyeji, Awodeyi, Onikola and Bayode.
Covener of the event says all the recipients of the awards had been found worthy on account of their respective commitment- financially and otherwise-to the growth of the church.
