Apetumodu delighted by Adeleke’s victory at Supreme Court

The Apetumodu of Ipetumodu, Oba Joseph Olugbenga Oloyede felicitated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke whom he described as a child of destiny having shown tenancity and focus in his struggle to contribute his quota to development of the state.

Oba Oloyede recalled Adeleke’s efforts in his first shot at the Government House in 2018, ending also at the Supreme Court where Oyetola was given the nod. He said if not for his love for the state, Adeleke could have turned his back when called upon again to take another shot in 2022.

“On behalf of my people in Ipetumodu, I share this moment of fulfilment with His Excellency for showing the world that endurance is rewarding. I am appealing to him to now see himself as father of all, regardless of parties and interests. This is a sure way for him to succeed beyond his imagination,” Oba Oloyede said.

The Apetumodu also called on his people to give needed support to the administration to allow breeze of development to reach Ipetumodu. He said era of bitter politics is over, saying all hands must be on deck to ensure Ipetumodu benefits from the new administration.

“Devisive politics can not take anyone to anywhere. It brings setback and retrogression. Let us all come together and work for the common goal of the state. Government is a continuum; we have to understand this and move forward. I congratulate His Excellency and wish him the best,” he prayed.
