Today, the Supreme Court in Abuja dismissed the suit filed by a gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Omoba Dotun Babayemi against Osun State Governor-Elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, thereby revalidating Adeleke’s candidacy on the July 16, 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election.
In unanimity, a five-man panel of justices threw out Babayemi’s case and declared his appeal as incompetent filed outside the stipulated time of 14 days.
