The Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Council continues today its assignment for the re-election of Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for a second term in office with visits to Ila, Ila Central LCDA and Ifedayo Local Governments area of the state.
According to a Press Statement issued by the Directorate of Media and Communication of the campaign council and signed by the Oluomo of Igbajo, Sunday Akere, the visit will further avail the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State the opportunity of speaking to the monumental achievements of the party and its flagbearer ahead of the 16th July, 2022 Gubernatorial Election In Osun State.
The statement also indicated that the governor and his team would visit the palace of Orangun of Ila Orangun, Oba Abduwahab Oyedotun to pay traditional homage on the royal fathers in the local government before moving to Ora Igbomina where the team would “also pay traditional homage to both the Akesin of Ora Igbomina and the Asaoni of Ora Igbomina in their various palaces.”
“The governor’s entourage will then move to Oke Ila the headquarters of Ifedayo Local Government where they will meet traditional rulers from Less City and Oke Ila at the palace of Orangun of Oke Ila before addressing party faithfuls at the Palace Square, Oke Ila Orangun.
“The team will later return to Ila Orangun where the Governor will address artisans, market women and men, members of ethnic nationalities, party members and the general public at the Open Field in front of the house of Chief Bisi Akande.
“The team will later visit the former Governor of Osun State and former National Chairman of APC Chief Bisi Akande in his country home for consultation and blessings,” the statement said.
