Asiwaju Musulumi charges leaders on national interest

The Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Tunde Badmus has charged Nigerian leaders to refrain from imflammable statements capable of heightening the current situation of the country.

In his Ileya message to Nigerians, the business mogul said millions of followers of those in various positions of authority easily follow their words, hence, he stressed, the need for the leaders to be cautious in speech, action and conduct.

He pointed out that patience, resilience and obedience to God, as exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismaheel, are virtues that all Nigerians should embrace for the nation to witness  peace and progress.

Badmus asked the youths and the elderly to have fear of God and respect fellow human beings, adding that with the virtues,  killings , hatred , injustice and greed will be reduced, and love will boom.

The Asiwaju also called on public office holders to execute policies aimed at encouraging the youths to be responsible, productive and patriotic as the advancement of Nigeria rests on their mental, physical and psyco-social energy.

He further called on the electorate in Osun State to be peaceful and orderly while casting their vote on July 16th during the state gubernatorial election.
