Senator Ogunwale grief-stricken over Iragbiji bank robbery

Sequel to the last Tuesday robbery incident at Iragbiji Branch of the Wema Bank, the Asiwaju of Iragbiji, Senator Felix Kolawole Ogunwale has condemned the attack in an unambiguous language contained in a release.

The personally signed statement described the act as a heinous crime, which, Ogunwale said, should be investigated comprehensively and speedily with a view to bringing culprits to book and serve them justice.

He said, “My heart goes out to the deceased policeman, who was a victim of the ungodly incident. I pray for the repose of his soul in the bosom of God.”

The Senator also commiserated with the management of Wema Bank, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Olabomi, Odundun II and the entire people of Iragbiji, praying to God to “prevent a re-occurrence of such nasty incident.”

Ogunwale appealed for more security surveillance all over Osun State to enable the people sleep with their two eyes closed while he also called on citizens to be on their guard and report suspicious people to security agents.
