Wife of Osun State Governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, the wife of has received an Award of Excellence at the 2023 Oodua Special Recognition Awards and dedicated it to her husband, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The award ceremony was organised to recognise and celebrate individuals who have made outstanding contributions to humanity, without tribal, social or cultural boundaries.
In a statement released after the ceremony, Adeleke expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi for the special recognition.
She also appreciated the Ooni’s wife, Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi for her presence during the award ceremony, and to all who supported her.
Erelu promised to remain committed to humanitarian services and selfless efforts towards positive change in Osun State and beyond.
“I consider myself as an instrument for positive change not only in Osun State but for all of mankind. What I have accomplished so far is just the beginning, a tip of the iceberg with more to come. I encourage everyone to stay tuned for further developments,” she said.
