Leaked audio compounds blogger’s ordeal

While public attention seemed to have subsided over a blogger, Funke Ashekun’s case with the Mountain of Fire Ministry (MFM), of which she was once a member, a leaked audio has, however, uncovered how she recruited aggrieved ex-members of the church against General Overseer Dr D.K.Olukoya.

The audio, a copy of which is available to TheTabloid.net, is now a burning topic on social media, confirming a couple of bloggers, including one identified as Aunty Adunni Blog, reportedly shared claims about a coordinated network working against the church.

Some of the allegations were initially dismissed by those involved but the leaked audio has intensified debate among church members and observers.

The recording features voices of Wale Akpeji and another individual identified as Sola, both discussing recruitment plans and conditions expected from prospective participants.

According to reports surrounding the audio, there were discussions about financial inducements and possible travel opportunities abroad for individuals willing to speak against the church leadership.

As the recording continues to spread across social media, the controversy has stirred strong reactions among members and observers alike.

To many, the incident reflects a painful example of how broken loyalty, misplaced trust, and personal grievances can grow into actions capable of causing division within the body of Christ. What was once expected to be a relationship built on faith, gratitude,  integrity and loyalty has now become overshadowed by accusations, secret alliances, and attempts to discredit spiritual leadership.
