Life as a female Managing Director comes with high expectations from both the board and employees. You are expected to be decisive, strategic, and results-driven, while also providing balanced leadership that inspires confidence in your team. As a woman in leadership, competence, consistency, and integrity are essential to earning and sustaining respect.
Can you share your journey before your current designation and possible challenges?
My professional journey started with a background in law, which gave me a strong foundation in structure, compliance, and critical thinking. Over the years, I expanded my expertise through additional qualifications in tax, mediation, business recovery, and general business solutions and administration. These multidisciplinary skills have been valuable in managing complex business issues. Like many leaders, the journey involved challenges—navigating business uncertainties, making difficult decisions, and constantly proving value. Persistence and continuous learning made the difference.
What is the performance of your company in the market?
At Afkar Printing and Publishing Company Limited, our focus has been on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
