Adeleke felicitates Saraki @ 60

The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated a former President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, eulogizing him as a selfless politician with strong penchant for impactful service.

In a statement he personally signed, Adeleke also described Saraki as a distinguished Nigerian, “whose strides in public service are outstanding. As an Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Senator Saraki exuded excellence, which earned him a call for a bigger role as governor of Kwara State.”

The governor affirmed that “In the eight years as governor, Saraki changed the face of the state, investing in beneficial human and capital developments that has remained unmatched till date. In the legislature, Senator Saraki made the people the focus of his agenda, explaining the incredible success the Senate recorded under his leadership as the President of the Senate.”

Adeleke further said, “As he turns 60 years today, I share with him the joy of the moment, and salute his untiring efforts in promoting the wellbeing of his people over the years and remaining unwavering in his commitment to the progress of Nigeria.

“It is my prayer that Almighty Allah bless you with good health and the strength to continue to be of service to this country. Many happy returns of the day Senator Saraki.”
