Unlike women who are good in the act of prevarication, majority of men say things the way they see it, and, of course, mean what they say. Their speech is straight forward and to the point.
Women, on the other hand, are generally more complex and subtle, especially when it comes to conversation. That’s why being able to interpret a woman’s body language is very important.
Women are constantly giving out very obvious signals as to how they are feeling through their body language. The trick for men is to be able to decode their body language which, of course, will help in having a smooth relationship. This is especially vital at the onset of a relationship so that both partners know themselves well.
For instance, a woman who is trying to get a man’s attentions is easy to notice from across the room; virtually all her body language changes once she sights a man she admires.
She leans towards the man as she tries to make eye contact, she laughs more often than usual and smiles constantly, regardless of whether or not the man is funny. She chews on her lips and her face animated. She is flirting!
A flirtatious woman also tends to fidget more. For example, she might fiddle with her jewelry; twisting her rings and tugging at her necklace. Her reaction is due to a nervous excitement because her heart is beating a little faster than usual and she needs some sort of outlet for the tension.
She may also play with her hair, cross her hands in a little unusual way, which is an unconscious signal that she wishes her object of desire is touching her.
How then would a man react to these? He should exhibit confidence and and get close if he’s interested in her because basically, her actions has given an unblinking green light.
Another way is lust, yeah. The lust body language is almost the same as the above flirtation signals. But this is more intense.
Eye contact is increased and prolonged while dilated pupils indicate arousal; sticking sassy poses with hips and chest out is a dead give away.
Naturally, this overt behavior usually occurs in a private or sexually charged environment like a club private party or closed event.
The man should also try to notice if the woman is breathing more heavily, which is an indication of desire; does she breath deeply when you are just inches away from each other and occasionally brushing each other? She would also try to touch you under any pretext.
It’s good to understand that as she shows interest in you, she can actually be uninterested. When this is the situation, she gives the vibes that she’s conflicted and indecisive. To match these feelings, her body gives off inconsistent signals; a combination of the flirtatious signals and disinterested ones earlier discussed.
For example, she might stare at you and then abruptly turn around and look away. She could lean towards you and the moment you move slightly to match her actions; she acts as if she suddenly change her mind and shyly ease back into her seat.
This could also indicate that she’s not yet sure about you and not a case of complete disinterest. If this is the situation, as a man, do not force the matter, you can move slowly, be friendly. Do not be too flirtatious or overtly sexual. Give her time to warm up to you.
Most people can recognise anger when they see it, but there are types of rage that are less obvious than a screaming fit. There is also the icy-cold burn, which is revealed through a narrowing of the eyes and a tightly closed mouth.
This can be accompanied by a head tilt and tightly clenched or closed fists.
She may also cross her arms as in the disinterested pose, but when she’s angry, it is more pronounced.
If her hands are placed on her hips, hmm, that is a very bad sign. Unlike the types of body languages listed above, this recent body language is exhibited during the early stage of a relationship. At this stage, please realize it probably isn’t about you, but about someone or something else that has happened to her.
If this happens, know that an already miffed woman tends to be disinterested and unresponsive. Wait for time and or other people to gradually difuse her rage and then go in for a kill!
