Weeks of speculations have ended today as the presidential candidate of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, finally named the immediate past Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shetima as his Vice president.
Tinubu announced Shetima in Daura, the Katsina State capital during his Sallah visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He briefed journalists after his close-door meeting with the president and said Shettima was selected based on his competence, capability and reliability.
