I suffer from chronic dehydration–K1

In a tone wrapped in regret, the fuji musician, K1, has revealed his state of health to public, stating that he sufferrs what he called “chronic dehydration”.

He explained that he carries the flask about according to his doctor’s prescription that he must not stay for a long time without sipping water.

In his apology, that bears his name, following his face off with the crew of the ValueJet Airline at the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on August 5, K1 described the incident as unfortunate.

“Unknown to many, I suffer from chronic dehydration, and my doctor strongly advised that I remain constantly hydrated. This is why I always carry a water flask with me,” he revealed.

However, K1 denied the claim that the flask cobtained alcohol, saying “And contrary to the negative narrative being circulated in some quarters, the flask I carried on that particular day contained only water — not alcohol, as wrongly alleged.”

He explained further, “For the record, I passed through two security screenings with the flask empty. The flask was only filled with water at the lounge area, just before heading to the tarmac. This fact can be verified by the CCTV footage at the airport lounge. More so, I hadn’t even boarded the plane, let alone being deboarded.”

Notwithstanding, K1 expressed his regret of his action and explained that he didn’t intend to create tension at the tarmac and breach aviation protocols, pledging his continued loyalty to the nation, he said, he had used his musical talent to promote for many years.

“Having been remorseful, taken responsibility, apologised for his misdeeds and regretted all the inconveniences, as regards the incident, I passionately appeal for acceptance of his pleas and utmost forgiveness for his act as there is no perfect living master on the planet of the earth.
