8BM freight systems arrives Osun

Months of sustained preparation by management of the 8BM, led by Chief Executive Officer, Dr Tobi Badmus, reached zero hour on July 3, 2025.

That was the historic day, the company’s Osogbo office was unveiled amidst generous remarks by distinguished guests, including the Asiwaju of Osogbo, Hon. Justice Kunle Adeigbe RTD supported by Professor Soliu Ameen of the University of Ilorin and Publisher of TheTabloid.net, Chief Tunde Busari.

Adeigbe, who incidentally is a successor to the late father of the CEO, Asiwaju Ajadi Badmus, applauded the 8BM for expanding its business to Osogbo and creating employment opportunities to the youths. On behalf of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Asiwaju assured the company of Osogbo’s support, especially in reference to the CEO’s father track record of selfless service in his lifetime.

In their remarks, Ameen encouraged the company not to lose focus and also charged the management to be transparent just as Busari thanked the management for inviting secondary schools pupils to the occasion to learn and plan for their future.

Three lecturers-Miss Deborah Otaigbe, Mr Bolarinwa Mushodiq and Mr Felix Arabi-spoke on Health and Personal Wellness, Technology and Digital Awareness, and Career Choice and Self discovery respectively.

Badmus appreciated the guests for their presence and described the ceremony as his return to his roots, “the community that shaped me, and to a place that will now power the future of our company.”

He revealed a unique significance of the occasion, according to him, coinciding with birthday of his mother, Alhaja Gbelewade Badmus.
“Mummy, I celebrate you today not just as a mother but as a builder. Your wisdom, quiet strength and love have shaped the man I am,” he declared.

Badmus made yet another revelation in the location of the office, saying “This very building now stands on AbdulFatai Ajadi Adekunle Badmus Freeway, named in memory of my late father-Asiwaju Ajadi Badmus. I want to publicly thank the Osun State Government for this great honour. Naming a road after my father is a powerful recognition of his life’s work.”

Other eminent personalities at the ceremony included the Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on innovation, Science, Technology and digital economy), Hon. Azeez Badmus; the Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Cultural Affairs, Hon Ayodeji Olamilekan (Sango of Africa), Alh. Lateef Olatoke Ajiboye ( Director of Technology), Hon. Latona Ayoade Razuk, Alh. Mojeed Fasasi, Prince Oyejide Oyewale, Mr Babatunde Adigun, Mr Olawale Taofeeq Bolarinwa, Mr Adeniyi Adebayo, Mrs Adenike Obisakin.
